Eat Drink Halifax is the creation of local food and drink writer, critic, and sommelier Mark DeWolf. Mark, formerly the national president and sommelier instructor for the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers, has been writing about food and drink for more than twenty years. He has served as an editor of Occasions Magazine, produced for the NSLC, Director of Food & Drink for Saltwire.com, and editor of ASI Magazine for the Association de la Sommellerie Internationale.
Eat Drink Halifax is your resource for food and drink events both large and small. The platform hosts premium anchor events including the Halifax International Wine Festival and Halifax International Spirit Festivals, while also curating intimate experiences through DeWolf Experiences, from private speakeasy dinners in Halifax's North End to immersive international wine-region travel.
